Moving my grandma out of the hot room, teaching the water cure

Yesterday I decided to call 3 times a day to see if the caregiver can move my grandmother out of her hot room.  She cannot.  In fact by sunny 10am she said my grandmother had taken a nap in her room where the sun shone brightly and the room temperature soared.  As I have previously exposed, this caregiver cannot stand the heat in the room and leaves my grandmother alone.

A healthy caregiver cannot stand the heat and my grandmother says this is the heat she needs.  And this kind of slow death by heat has been happening since March 2006!  No wonder my grandmother is dying!

After lunch yesterday I decided to pay a surprise visit.  Tugging along my 5 year old boy, I had the driver drop us off at the train station.  We bought a one liter mineral water bottle and rode the train to my grandmother’s house.

Caught in the act!  It was 2pm and the sun was shining brightly directly in her bedroom, it was hot, the TV was on and my grandmother was taking a nap.  I woke her up.  My 5 year old woke her up.  She was surprised.  And I spoke to her in her only half good right ear that she was walking out of this hot room and into the cooler guest room.  Either that or I bodily carry her against her will.  And I can do that.  Nothing a weak old granny can do.

We transferred to the guestroom at last and I gave instructions to both grandma and her caregiver:

  • Please follow my instructions to take 6 capsules of fish liver oil per day.  You are just taking 1 cap per day.  This will fix your coldness and numbness to the hot rooms.
  • I taught them how to administer the water / salt cure recipe by using the 1 liter bottle and a measuring teaspoon.
  • I gave a schedule that my grandmother leave her room 9am to 4pm everyday.  I actually wanted her to transfer to the guestroom, but she refused for no good reason.  I will be working on her to do a full transfer.

More follow up is needed.  I will be calling again after I post this blog entry.
