I drive back and forth the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway
My sister in law and I visited the Aetas in Morong Bataan yesterday and I drove back and forth the same day. Â It was pretty easy on the way. Â It was morning and the sun was up. Â We drove a cruising speed of 130 kph on the way to Subic. Â We got to Subic very fast this way. Â I recorded only 150 kilometers to Subic. Â Much less than what I used to drive in the old days without the new highway which used to be 220 kilometers. Â So paying the toll fee was worth it.
After a tiring day trekking and learning about the Aeta, we drove back the same night just before sunset.  So when we landed inside Subic it was already dark.  This made driving more tense as night driving needed more concentration.  I was exhausted after the SCTEX on the way home and needed a break in the Shell gas station in Dau.  I had to chemically abuse myself with a commercial brew of black coffee.  A few minutes rest in the  gas station and it was extended play for me to drive home and we did arrive home safely.
This Sunday I did nothing but sleep all day.
