Sick people have unhealthy habits
Sick people are speeding their cars straight towards the edge of a cliff. They are routinely diagnosed as having x months to live. Well… that is if… a big IF… they continue traveling the sure unhealthy road towards the edge of the cliff.
The problem with for profit “medicine” whether “alternative” or “conventional” is that they are only going to tell the sick their very own profitable “solutions”. They are in it for the money.
Hobby healers like me will tell you in your face what your problem is. I don’t give a hoot about your money. You won’t like what I have to say but it will be an honest opinion.
So I just came visiting to my brother in law’s house. My kids played with their kids. One of their kids was having a snack. Scrambled eggs… of course cooked… probably with salt. I went snooping in the kitchen looking for the common poisons. Ah ha! Two sachets of Aji No Moto MSG aka Mono Sodium Glutamate. Then I found Knorr beef flavoring cubes, more artificial flavoring. Canola oil for frying. Then there was the well stocked refrigerator. Well stocked with the usual toxic junk, old meats, old processed meats like hotdogs and chicken nuggets.
No wonder my sister in law grew a couple of tumors on her breast. And they thought those were benign. Seeing the junk in their fridge and their kitchen, no wonder she got sick. There is nothing benign about the sickening “food” in their house. Boxed cereals for breakfast for the children!
A few years ago we lived the same way. I think I grew up the same way. That is why I became fat and sick.
When I was fat and wanted to become slimmer I came across a book title that said “Slim people have very picky habits.” That stuck to me. My nutritionist taught me new slimming habits. When I got sick, I evaluated my habits and got rid of sickening habits.
So it is time for a new moto: “Very healthy people have very healthy habits.”
And what are those healthy habits? Plenty. Raw food, fresh food, early to bed, early to rise, relaxing job, loving relationships, fresh air, etc. etc. Would require a blog post of its own.
Maybe I should make house calls. Live with the sick for a day and make comments about how to improve their lives.
