How Much Sex Do You Need to Make A Child When You Are Trying to Conceive?
We had a good laugh among friends this afternoon. A young lady in her mid 20s is trying to conceive and she says they have been trying for 2 years but with no success yet. The clincher was her answer to the question how often she and her partner had sex… her answer was 2 times a year!!! Incredible! This means they have had sex 4 times in 2 whole years and that is how she defined trying to conceive! Talk about your information divide! For those who are trying to conceive, below I will tell you how much sex you need to do to make your children.
First thing, you have to mark the first day of your menstruation as day number 1. Count 9 days. You are probably fertile days 9 to 16. You have a higher probability of pregnancy if you have sex during those days. So you can schedule for REAL SEX days 9, 11, 13, 15 or days 10, 12, 14, 16. You don’t need any more sex other than those days. Save it, something to look forward to the following monthly cycle.
Why every other day? This is so the man can charge up his sperm production, more sperm, more chances of conceiving. Over sexing is bad for conception as well.
So if you count the number of times to have sex, if it takes 6 months to make a child, you may need to have sex some 4 times 6 equals 24 times. Of course you can get lucky the first time, but we just all have to spread our bets. If it takes a year to make a child then that makes 48 counts of sexual intercourse.
Look, sex 2 times a year is just plain unrealistic if you are trying to conceive. And my lady friend says they only do it during anniversaries or birthdays! Unbelievable.
