My April 2008 optimum diet plan for health, weight and muscle gain

For those who have been following my blog and websites I have been going around the diet plans, health plans, cure plans and have been cherry picking the concepts I agree with and thus formulating my own diet plan.

There are some parameters that are important to me:

#1 No Supplemental Water consumption. Our reverse osmosis water filter outputs 1 to 2 TDS, but I only take that while drinking the dewormer or the lower bowel balance capsules. My diet must not make me thirsty. My food must provide the water I need from the raw meat or cooked meat, from the fruits, from coconuts. I never drink during meal time.

#2 Daily Bowel Movements. No constipation whatsoever. My diet must provide optimal bowel movement with minimal herbal assistance. I have Barefoot’s Lower Bowel Balance to train my bowels, I only take them when I feel I need them. Since I know fruits are bowel moving, I have to balance the amount of fatty animal foods I’m taking.

#3 Natural Hygiene concepts of food. No condiments. A true food tastes good alone. No food combining. Mono meals. Eat only one meal at a time.

#4 Wai Genriiu concepts that we need only raw fruits and some raw meats like egg yolks and fish. Not plants, not vegetables, not grain.

#5 Raw and Cooked Paleolithic concepts that agriculture caused the generation of humans. Our food must be pre-agriculture. Fruits and Animal Foods.

#6 Animal foods must be organic, freshly killed, sometimes raw, if cooked never fried, zero condiments.

#7 Homo optimus diet proportion of protein to fats. Roughly 1 part protein and 2.5 to 3.5 parts fat. By visual estimate it could be 1 part lean meat to 1 part fat. Where the lean meat has fat in them too. I discard hard lean parts in cooked meats.

#8 Fruits are raw, ripe and mostly organic or wild, never imported, never irradiated, all local and following the seasons. I learned this from Ka Rey Herrera the herbalist.

It is all pretty easy really.

Say I wake up in the morning and I take my glass of freshly opened coconut juice, and if I feel like eating the meat, I do too. An hour or more later I could take another kind of fruit, like a mango which is in season.

At lunch I could eat 1/2 kilo of cooked fatty lechon pig / pork slaughtered fresh and roasted immediately. The other day it was raw beef sirloin with the accompanying raw live fats. Or raw wild fish. Or 6 raw egg yolks. Or beef bone and fat broth.  Or goat skin kinilaw. (kinilaw is chemically cooked in organic coconut vinegar)

A few hours later maybe some duhat which is in season too. Or maybe jack fruit.

At dinner to have some socials with my family I could eat a couple of saba bananas and drink more coconut juice and eat some of the meat.

I’m trying to gain 2 pounds per month. And if my theory is correct, the addition of raw and cooked fatty meats will allow me to gain weight. Fatty meats will limit the amounts of protein I eat so I do not get protein overdose.

There is no calorie counting. My sense of fullness tells me when to stop eating. My sense of thirst tells me if the food I eat is hydrating.

I am slowly increasing the amount of animal food intake, trying to feel my optimal proportion of animal foods with fruits.

My subjective results I judge from the way I feel, no eczema like symptoms, clearing of my facial skin, my strength, my weight gain from muscle and not via fat. I should be free from colds and coughs, excess mucus formation. I should progress looking more handsome and more muscular. I should be free from illness.

Of course I do more than just optimize my diet. I follow the other guidelines I wrote on www.curemanual.com
