Post Intussusception diet plan for 8 year old boy
It’s May 15 and cousins are in the compound. Our 8 year old boy who just miraculously got cured last May 12 early morning of intussusception is all healthy as if nothing happened to him. He runs and jumps and plays with his siblings and cousins. I ask if there was any hint of pain inside his guts and he says there is none at all.
Now for some discipline in eating: Diet is the most important guide to be followed in the post intussusception recovery protocol. Diet is everything.
The guide: only easy to digest, raw animal foods and special vegetables and specific foods:
For fruits: (if it is not in this list, it is not approved)
- Duhat and Star Apple / Kayumito (these are gut healing fruits)
- Coconut juice and coconut meat
- Durian
- Watermelon
- calamansi as condiment for sashimi
For vegetables, fully boiled, intestine healing:
- saluyot
- alugbati
- okra – he likes this
For carbs:
organic white rice with lots of ghee (clarified butter) in half “sinangag”
(this is carb + fat)
For meat:
- raw animal foods, must be totally raw, no heating whatsoever
- sashimi fish, raw beef, raw horse
- raw eggs
The child cannot afford putrefying cooked animal food in his guts as he is currently taking antibiotics for amoeba which means lack of bacteria in his gut to digest cooked meat. Putrefying cooked meat may possibly harm his injured colon. Raw meat digests effortlessly in the stomach.
For condiments:
- sea salt (a little)
- calamansi
His diet must wind up being high fat. Get from coconut fat, ghee, raw animal fat.
His diet must be hydrating.
This combination will give effortless pooping.
There will be no food combining. He will eat mono meals. Must be spaced 1 hour apart at least.
If it is not on the list do not feed it to him.
He must eat only what is on the list.
This is meant to be posted in the kitchen for all adults in the household to see and follow.
