Dengue Fever Outbreak in the Visayas – stop eating MSG and do not take Paracetamol

Dengue Fever is a hot item in the mainstream media these days.  Large outbreaks of dengue fever reported around the Philippines, thousands.  Lots of deaths reported, up to a hundred total this year.  Don’t be a victim.  Listen up, this is what you need to do so you or your children will not hemorrhage and die from dengue fever.

First of all, do not eat MSG.  My healer friend Vander Gaditano blames the MSG madness and ubiquity for the hemorrhaging effects of dengue.  Dengue is supposed to be a weak illness, but add MSG to the mix and you have disaster.  So do not eat add MSG in your cooking, no flavor mixes either, and when you buy food from your local turo turo, tell them not to use MSG or you are not buying in the future.

Second, never take paracetamol for a fever – ever.  You are just trained by advertising.  Your body is doing its job by raising a fever, it is fighting what ails you.  Usually something undigested or poisonous within you is being terminated by your body, this is your body at work.  So suppressing your body’s work with paracetamol is counter productive.  Combine counter productive paracetamol with dengue fever and there you have the medically accepted fact that this combination causes hemorrhaging.  So you need to throw out every tablet of paracetamol in your medicine cabinet… Don’t look at me, we DO NOT have a medicine cabinet.

Third, do not feed a sick patient who says he is not hungry.  Stop being a naive parent thinking a sick child needs to be pumped with food to get well. That is the complete opposite of what you should do, you need to follow body wisdom, and when body wisdom says I do not want to eat, then do not feed the sick.

Fourth, you do know the Tawa Tawa weeds for Dengue by now.  But if you are panicking and not thinking straight and cannot find any Tawa Tawa in your side walk, there is an easy substitute.  Talbos ng Kamote / Kamote Tops – you can’t make a mistake there now can you?  Go to your nearest garden or talipapa and get 2 bunches of kamote tops.  Pound it to access the juice and add 1 tall glass of water.  Drink this leaf juice concoction every 2 hours and see the patient get well.
